Applied Human Design® integrates Human Design, ontology, coaching, and deconditioning into one method. Most people know their Design. Few are actually living it. Applied Human Design closes that specific gap: you cannot fully embody your Design until you decondition what’s blocking it.
Catherine has worked with Human Design since 2007, long before it became a trend, and trained as an ontological coach through Accomplishment Coaching, one of the field’s original programs. With a background in IT and systems thinking, she spent two decades refining a synthesis neither discipline could have produced alone: Human Design gives the individuated map of who a person actually is; ontology gives the framework for confronting what stands between a person and that map. Together they name what most Human Design work leaves unaddressed, that conditioning has to be dismantled before Design can be lived, not just known.
This is who Applied Human Design® is built for: people who already have a Human Design foundation, who’ve had their chart read, maybe more than once, and still find themselves unable to fully actualize what they know is true. If you understand your Type and Authority but keep running on old strategies anyway, this is the gap Applied Human Design exists to close.
Catherine speaks from inside this work, not above it. As a Manifestor who spent years operating like a Generator, she has done the deconditioning she teaches, not just studied it. That experience shapes an approach that helps clients of every Type stop efforting and reclaim their correct rhythm and inner authority.
Her primary work today is long-term, 1:1 coaching and the Applied Human Design® Training Program, a multi-level certification pathway for practitioners who want to be trained not just in Human Design mechanics, but in a specific, integrated method for teaching others to live theirs. She also offers Human Design readings for those first mapping their chart.
She is the creator of Applied Human Design® and author of a planned six-book series published under that name, beginning with The Human Design Book of Deconditioning, releasing January 2027. Additional titles in progress include The Human Design Book of Being a Manifestor and The Human Design Book of Authorities.
Catherine co-teaches with her longtime mentor, Chetan Parkyn, and works globally with clients ready to confront old paradigms and live as themselves, without apology.
She lives in Olympia, Washington, with her overly large orange cat, Mickey, her miniature poodle, Pepe III, and a backyard full of flowers and shrubs.
